先日、乃木坂のTOTOギャラリー・間で行われている平田晃久展へ行ってきました。
最近では太田市美術館・図書館で知られている平田晃久さんです。この展示会ではいくつかのプロジェクトを通して背景にある考え方が紹介されています。
展示の仕方も独創的で、各プロジェクトの最終模型やスタディ段階の模型が立体的に結ばれて展示されています。
模型に集中してると頭なとぶつけそうで少し怖かったですが笑。
屋外にも展示が同様の展示があります。スタディ段階の模型がたくさん展示されており、平田さんの思考を少しだけ分かることが出来た気がします。
上の階では実寸のモックアップのなかから太田市美術館・図書館などの作品の映像を見ることができます。
まだ、太田には行ったことがなかったので実際に見に行かなくてはと思いました。
